WORDS OF DHAMMA

 

Na tāvatā dhammadharo, yāvatā bahu bhāsati; yo ca appampi sutvāna, dhammaṃ kāyena passati;
sa ve dhammadharo hoti, yo dhammaṃ nappamajjati.

-One does not become well versed in the Dhamma merely because he speaks much about it. Even if he knows a little about it but practices vipassana and does not neglect it is indeed well- versed in the Dhamma.

WORDS OF DHAMMA

Yesañca susamāraddhā, niccaṃ kāyagatā sati; akiccaṃ te na sevanti, kicce sātaccakārino;
satānaṃ sampajānānaṃ, atthaṃ gacchanti āsavā.

-Those who always earnestly practice mindfulness of the body, who do not resort to what should not be done, and steadfastly do what should be done: the defilements of those aware and thoroughly understanding ones cease.
